Our History

In 2011 we saw an opportunity to better help local businesses with IT support in the greater Portland area. With a background of several decades of collective experience in managing IT departments, we started Nextworks IT. We quickly discovered just how "jagged" most small business IT environments were. We knew we could do better... much better. We found a balance between price and quality of service, while building a great team and a fun place to work.
In 2019 Nextworks started a new product: Nextworks Voice, delivering superior business phone systems with responsive and personable local support. We found many of our IT clients trapped with old, semi-functional, and expensive phone systems. There had to be a better alternative at a much better cost. Nextworks did not want to simply become a VAR for a national VoIP service provider and thus make quality and response time compromises. We stand behind our own superior solution with amazing support.
